The week leading up to Ferragosto<\/a>\u00a0we decided to head to our cottage near Rieti\u00a0with my in-laws and hubby’s extended family. If you’ve ever been to Rome in August, you already know it’s insanely hot and humid and Rome becomes a ghost town. We decided to beat the heat and spend some quality family time before the rush of September kicks us all back into gear.<\/p>\n

Our neighbour just down the road happens to be cousins with my mother-in-law. The two elderly sisters (Ella and Edda) are well into their 80’s and have this cute little garden, so we asked if we could take some pictures.<\/p>\n

Dress: Forever21<\/a><\/p>\n

This dress is light-weight and has a semi zip-up enclosure on the back. The shoulder straps are also adjustable. \u00a0It’s the perfect dress for a hot summer’s day.<\/p>\n

Shoes: Are from Aldo, but they aren’t available anymore. \u00a0Here’s something similar with Shopbop<\/a><\/p>\n
